Welcome to the Family Hobbies repair page. In an effort to service our customers we will be offering for a limited time labor free repairs on all out of warranty starter set engines and rolling stock. Our competitors charge up to $60 a hour, we can save you money. Our goal at Family Hobbies is to have your repairs done the same or next day, in most cases while you wait (time permitting). All you pay for are the parts. We understand the importance of taking care of our customers and will work hard to earn your business. Certain restrictions apply see restrictions below.

This limited time offer will apply to products that are sent to us by the USPS or by UPS. These products will receive the same fast repair attention as in store repairs. We will have them fixed in one to two days of receipt and have them shipped promptly back the same day repairs are complete. NOTE: We can not guarantee return delivery time USPS and UPS work at their own speeds.

NOTE:
Warranty work must be taken to an authorized Lionel service station. We will be working on becoming a authorized service station.

2) Cost of parts will apply for any repairs done to starter set
    equipment.

Other labor free repairs include:
Tenders (starter engines), all freight car, truck replacement or
coupler repairs

Absolutely, no bench fee  other places charge $15 just to look at your equipment and tell you what is wrong with it. At Family Hobbies we will inspect your equipment and tell you what needs to be done to get it in working order.

All other repair work will be charged $15 a hour (Only one quarter of our competitors hourly rate) + Parts
